Museum of Brisbane – Sit. Pose. Snap.

Sit. Pose. Snap. Brisbane Portrait Photography 1850 – 1950 explores the phenomenon of studio portrait photography in Brisbane, and shows how the process of capturing and sharing a portrait evolved from the formal studio sittings of the 19th century through to candid and relaxed photographs of the mid-20th century. Thinking Of You – Freya’s story

What a privilege and honor to work on this project with Donna and Freya Toussaint!
This promotional clip takes you on a journey through Freya’s life thus far, and attempts to explain her natural gifts and how her and her mum, Donna, have decided to work together to secure Freya’s future in meaningful employment. Their teeny tiny shop is located on Level 2 of the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, and offers a gift service with a difference. Products are either made by Freya, or carefully selected for their unique stories too.

Decades Festival 2014

Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Decades Festival, was a journey back in time, celebrating all things funky from the 1950’s through to the 1990’s.

An immensely successful day of live entertainment from John Farnham, The Seekers, Tim Campbell, Pat Capocci, Ezra Lee, The High Boys, Jump Jive and Wail, and Jokebox Heroes. Classic cars, vintage markets, amusement rides, interactive workshops, pin up competition, sideshow alley, suitcase rummage and a historical walk through time too.

A huge day capturing the vibe of the festival, and the live music performances of these Australian music legends! A big thank you to MBRC for the opportunity to be involved in this spectacular festival! LOVE my life! Im editing a short promotional video which I’d love to share! (fingers crossed) So much beautiful footage!

Capturing Neil Gracie’s pretty piano playing!

We put this little clip together, filmed at the Brisbane Jazz Club, to expose Neil’s lovely piano playing. Im rather fond of the black and white colour treatment. It adds a classy tinge and gives the clip a very timeless feel. Working with Neil and Nickie was delightful. Thank you to Mark Smith from Real Productions, for the beautiful sound!!

Celebrating Ian Jacobson’s 90th birthday!

I was so blessed to be invited to celebrate with this beautiful family! I managed to capture the live band, some very sweet dancing, heart warming speeches, the enormous cake cutting and the kids enjoying the pool! The video is in the post! Happy birthday Ian! xx
