Beautiful weather! Beautiful people! Beautiful event! I couldn’t help but be inspired to look at my garden in a new light after walking around the garden expo and speaking to all the enthusiastic gardeners! Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour from 10th to 12th July, this three day expo is Queensland’s premier gardening event attracting 35,000 + visitors from all over Australia and New Zealand. Some of Australia’s leading Gardening experts take part in three days of lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Visit the Qld Garden Expo Website.

Wonderful working with this group of young musicians, who have collaborated to produce this fabulous and thought provoking album of music inspired by letters from the war. Truly touching lyrics and musically engaging! I captured some ‘behind the scenes’ footage during their recording session, and then the live concert the next night. This creative project reinforces Brisbane as a New World City. Artist Liam O’Brien sought to explore the ways in which our movement and time is influenced by our role in society, particularly by our employment. An archetypal character costumed in corporate attire is captured in sequential stages of varying movements – be it monotonous, athletic, or clumsy. The projection on the William Jolly Bridge was shown from 3-9 July.
